The house is quietly situated about 4 kilometres from Calpe (on the Mediterranean coast, 80 km to the North of Alicante, about 650 km from the French border along the coastal motorway). This section of the coast is particularly beautiful, combining excellent beaches against a mountainous backdrop.

Along the coastal strip, the infrastructure is well developed, offering every facility for the holiday-maker (golf, riding, tennis, sailing, scuba-diving, etc). Inland, the countryside is largely unspoiled and is ideal for hill walks of all grades of difficulty (see the guide by Bob Stansfield "Mountain Walks on the Costa Blanca", Cicerone Press, Milnethorpe).

The nearest beach is appoximately 5 kilometres from the house.
